Chairman Frank Ning Talks with Atlantis Management Team

Chairman Frank Ning Meets with Dubai Mercantile Exchange Chief Liaison Officer Mr. Raid Al-Salami

On November 13, Mr. Frank Ning, Chairman of Sinochem Group, visited Atlantis, a subsidiary of  Sinochem Petroleum Exploration and Production Co., Ltd located in UAE, investigating business operation and bringing greetings to frontline staff.

After the debriefing, Chairman Ning expressed his thanks for Atalantis’ hard work and appreciation for their pioneering spirit.  He indicated that, as Sinochem’sfirst project extending the energy business to the upstream value chain, Atlantis has accumulated rich international operation experience over the past 10 years, and forged an elite exploration team that was capable of effectively responding to market changes and achieving a remarkable performance. He noted that, the SBU of Energy was obligated to probe into market opportunities and development trend with strategic mind-set and methodology, locating the point to “surpass,” and heading for the ambition of becoming an international oil dealer that was globally competitive and market-oriented.

On November 14, Chairman Frank Ning visited Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME for short) and talked with Chief Liaison Officer Mr. Raid Al-Salami who briefed him on DME’s latest development and future strategy. Chairman Frank Ning stated that, energy futures trading market should be on guard of financial speculation to ensure a healthy trading environment and stable crude oil price worldwide. The two sides wished to jointly promote an interactive development of resource-intensified Middle-East and market-intensified Asia.
